Hi,
I just got home from adjustment #12. I was told that I have been wearing my rubberbands so well that I do not have to wear them any more. I also was told that there is a chance that I will get my finishing wire (yea) at my next adjustment and will be done ahead of schedule. I would guess that ahead of schedule would mean before the end of the year so about 3 months early.

I have Gac In-ovation brackets (self-ligating). I got my braces Dec 29 2003. My estimated treatment time is 27 months. I got my braces off Dec 5 2005 after 23 months and 1 week.

Hi,
I had adjustment 13 today. I am very happy to report that I DID get my finishing wires today. They are 16x22 multibrade (sp??) stainless steel wires top and bottom. I did feel the adjustment for about 30 minutes and no pain since. I am very happy that I am ahead of schedule. My next adjustment is a check up, I will ask then how much longer.

Hi,
I had adjustment 14 today. I got a wire tie from 2 to 2 on the bottom. I did not have the chance to ask my ortho how much time I have left because, I finally got the date that I am getting my braces off, Dec 5th. I am very happy. I have not talked to my ortho about retainers yet I guess that will happen at my debanding appointment. I will get out of my braces 3-4 months early (estimate of 27 months). I am getting them off at a little over 23 months.

Michele! I had not seen your teeth in a while, they look great! I saw your post in another section and realized that there has really been a remarkable difference. Yeah! :jump:
