I think they look great and I do see a lot of difference! Since getting braces I really look at other's teeth now. When you're so accustomed to studying & spotting movement in your own mouth it's east to spot the movement in other's.

TODAY IS MY 5 MONTH MARK IN BRACES! woo.

but on the upper right hand side, where that big gap is, the wire always digs into my cheek now.
that hurts quite a bit and its quite a large area to put the wax on so i'm trying to avoid that!

5 months goes so so quickly! seems like yesterday i was freaking out about gagging at the mouth impressions!

Congrats on 5 months! Your pics look great! You and I came on here at the same time and believe it or not, I'm still waiting for my treatment. I went with invisalign and I've been waiting for months now for the clincheck to come through...and here you are with such amazing changes already. It will be over before you know it!

Quick update as usual; I have seen ZERO movement in my teeth! If anything I have seen them go backwards! But that is normal I think. I am seeing the ortho this wednesday, the 3rd. I have also noticed that my teeth look a bit more yellow lately Which is frustrating.

Sorry I havent updated!! I had to reschedule my appointment from the 3rd as I had a school commitment which I couldn't get out of. Luckily the ortho could fit me in tomorrow for my wire change, otherwise I would have to wait until SEPTEMBER!

I haven't really noticed any major changes with my teeth.. except that my bottom arch is looking.. well.. archier! And the teeth on the bottom are straighter.

Thankgod I am going to the ortho tomorrow, this one piece of wire is poking my tongue like crazy on the end!

I have finally been to see the ortho .. it feels like FOREVER since i last saw him!

He said everything is looking great, I am cleaning my teeth very well Which was great to hear!
He changed the top wire to a thicker one, and the bottom one is the same thickness but i think is a new one if that makes sense.

Next appt is in 6 weeks, (not 7), on september 26! Woo. My teeth are looking really good.

The adjustment was only painful when he was closing the brackets, that made me want to jump out of the chair
It is only 7 hrs since the adjustment and my teeth are very sensitive, one tooth actually feels like the bracket is going to "PING" off, hopefully not!

What has your ortho used to pull your front teeth/overbite back? Mine is using these horrible closing loops that are huge/ugly and may have worked at first but are no longer doing the trick. When I go to my appt tomorrow I am demanding that they come out and he figure out another way. There is more than one way to skin a cat you know.

Well the weird thing is... my ortho and i havent actually got to that stage yet! My teeth/overbite seem to be moving back with the braces alone at this stage but i am assuming that elastics will be in the plan somewhere down the track but we have never talked about it strangely enough.

That really sucks that they loops are one, huge and ugly and two, no longer seem to be doing the trick for you. I would be talking to them to!

Hi all!
I apologize for the lack of updates, but I have been so busy lately!
Nothing major to say.. everything has been great braces-wise.
My teeth just seem to be quite sore after flossing... they feel like i just had my wires changed or something!!
Next wire change is not until September 26 so I apologize if I don't update until then!

my gosh its about time i did an update!!!!

so i had my ortho appt today....
got a new wire for the bottom arch.
hurts like a b****! thats all i can describe it as. it hurts so much!

my next appt is in 8 weeks time.. but in 7 weeks i have to have xrays of my mouth to see how my teeth are going

i havent really seen much movement in my teeth at all.. but ill let you all decide..
