Thank you White Fang! I think anyone who gets braces at any point after middle school has to be a little brave about it, or atleast confident enough to get over feeling totes dorky. Braces are enough of a hassle without that, haha.

Good News, Everyone! (channeling "Futurama" today)

I know I already kinda showed this in my last post, but here are some more weird-looking comparison pictures. One month into braces vs. Three months:

So the main thing that was bothering me is really getting better! Yayy...

Obviously, I'm not very good with the picture-taking, but hey, check it out (same 1 month/3 month):


I still have a lot of time left in the braces (gotta close all those gaps), but at least my bite isn't so noticeably open anymore. Only when I tilt my head up! Going to the ortho tomorrow and supposed to get some new chain-type device. I am intrigued.

Wow your teeth and open bite have really changed in just three months! You must be really excited to get to the end. I don't get my braces on until August 30 and I feel like I'm going to fall over with excitement just to get started, so that I can finally start counting down to getting finished LOL

Haha I know what you mean, shanmuffin! I get super excited as soon as I know the date for my next orthodontist appointment, just to see what they'll add on. I was really wanting to get into my braces as soon as possible too, especially because I was in spacers for three weeks beforehand... Do you have those yet? Good luck with everything The time will fly by once you don't think about it, haha.
