Are you going to have to have a frenectomy once your braces come off?
Thank you I am not sure. The tissue has not been acting up at all. There is still a gap, but its so small. Maybe once the two teeth actually touch, it might become painful. My ortho says I my not need the frenectomy but we will wait and see.
He said I will likely be getting permanent retainers and removable. I just hope that once the gap is gone, it never returns!!!

I just read your story. Your teeth look great and even before the gap started to close up you had a beautiful smile!! I think after the braces come off ifnyou wear your retainers as instructed the gap will not return. I look forward to following your story!!!
