Getting better

#46 Post by groovie »

Hi everyone, the pain is slowly but surely going away. It's just really painful when I take off the retainer, and even more painful when I put it back on after a short period of time.

Anyway, I just wanted everyone to know that I will be posting the long awaited (?????) Before and After picture on my website.

So click the WWW button!

...for the comments! It is hard to wear my retainers for 16 hours a day since I really need to take it off when I am working. I work for customer service so I talk a lot. And I sound like I have a really bad lisp when I talk with the retainers. So I'm just scared that my teeth may shift!

I guess the best way to think about it is your lisp is not a permanent feature.. It is temporary and hopefully the more you wear your retainers the more you will get use to speaking with time. Also you probably notice the lisp alot more than everyone else does..

The last thing you want is your teeth to move again so I would hang on in there....

Your pics are great.... :D :D
