Rhibee - your teeth are going to be fabulous! Sorry you still can't bite into stuff. I must have an abnormal pain tolerance (must be the karate)

I watch out for the hard stuff like nuts - wouldn't want to bend any wires wacky and then have teeth running amuck and getting in worse shape than when I started, but i can eat deep fried chicken tenders. You will get there one day- I hope it is soon

Aw thanks Debinator :)

Well, my teeth are starting to settle down again BUT my front left tooth is very clicky and it annoys me. I feel like everytime i eat i am banging it into the teeth down the bottom (spasms!) and then i feel like its out of place (like food is stuck in between it and another tooth) it is really frustrating and it is sore! I hope that goes away soon, i have always been worried about this tooth, its the one with the hair line crack in it. I am hoping it comes to the party and starts behaving soon!!!

apart from that nothing else to report, boring stage now until next adjustment! lol

have a good day! :-*

I kind of hate boring! I just had my adjustment this morning and I'm already bored :P

Glad the teeth are starting to settle and I'll keep fingers crossed for you that that tooth decides to step into line!

Rhibee your teeth are moving so fast!!! They're looking great!

I'm almost 12 months in and have only just (barely) started to bite soft things!! Hopefully it doesn't take that long for you! Half the time I just give up and break whatever I'm eating up with my fingers!!! Quite messy but effective!

Saw a kid that just had her braces put on the other day... eating a chocolate iced donut! Man was I jealous!!! I still won't let myself eat iced donuts but guess what I'll be eating when these babies come off!!! MMMmmmmm dreaming of the day!

I guess clicky is good as it means something is about to move and hope the small crack amounts to nothing. It never ceases to amaze me that a micron of movement feels like you have a new set of teeth but within a few hours, it feels normal again. Just shows how quickly we adapt. Sorry you are feeling sore, hope it eases soon.

HI EVERYONE! lol

sorry its been a while, to be honest not much exciting stuff going on with my teeth. I think the bottoms have actually gotten worse... they seemed to be getting quite straight but now they are going crooked again and uneven! not cool...

the tops however seem to be doing something :) I am very happy, here is a pic of my smile at the moment!
smile 2mtns 3 weeks.jpg
my alignment is out, but they are looking so much straighter

Adjustment isn't till 23rd July so still about 3 weeks yet. Ugh i hate 5 week gaps in between adjustments!

I find that my bite has moved and i have been feeling like a "teething" sensation and cannot stop biting my back teeth together!! I am not sure if this is good for my teeth.... it certainly is not good for my jaw tension! ouch!!  :Questions: but i cannot stop biting down on the back teeth, like just sitting here typing, all i want to do is make my back teeth touch and bang together on the molar bands lol, its like a nice but weird feeling hahaa, but as I said, is it even ok to do this? is it normal to feel this way?? stupid teeth! lol. I also keep freaking out I have white marks around my brackets... one minute i think i do, next minute i think "oh its probably just glue" but then i think "hrmm has that "glue" always been there?" i dont want white marks :( somedays i am getting a bit lazy and neglecting them a bit. Just on weekends mainly.. i might just brush twice a day and not so much after lunch etc... i might have to pick up my game i think.... sigh.. IT JUST TAKES SO LONG! lol.

I hope everyone else is going well, I might have a quick look at other people's posts and go to bed soon.

Have a good night! :) :rose:

They look AWESOME :jump:

Lol, I'm lazy 99% of the time after lunch. Bit of a swish, pikster brush if I need to and that's it :paperbag: My little brother was in braces for 3 years and never once brushed after lunch and didn't have anything happen (neither has my daughter and I'm lucky if I can make sure she brushes once a day let alone floss or anything else). I'm sure it's going along fine :)

I think I know the feeling you're talking about. It's a sort of hurty/itchy feeling and it makes you want to clench your teeth. I get it a lot after an adjustment when they're not sore anymore but not quite better. I hate clenching my teeth but sometimes you can't help it. Hope that passes for you soon!

WELL _ its great to read your update and know that lots of us are going throughout the same sort of things...
Your teeth look amazing - they are white and a nice shape :)

... isn't it wonderful to see the difference, photos are great at keeping the motivation going on the harder days.

I don't have my next adjustment until 2 August (thats 9 weeks between adjustments!) as I am overseas until then :/ Just have to bear with it!!
My lower midline is now way out, and teeth on bottom are crooked - in a different way to what they were previously!

Will follow your updates with interest :-1

aww thanks hun! :)

I will brush after lunch at work cos i have a coffee, but at home on the weekend i will have a coffee and often not brush afterwards. during the week i am pretty good and brush 3 times a day, just the weekends  oh that is good then hehe i am sure we will both be fine :)

its not really like a hurty or itchy feeling, its not a feeling really, its just i think i like the feeling that maybe my bite is changing and i can now bite on back teeth i couldnt before so i just keep doing it? lol. its kinda like a nice feeling biting on the molar bands lol like a soft squishy feeling i dunno its hard to explain but i think i better stop doing it lol. my jaw was so so sore yesterday that i left work a bit early cos my head was killing me. its just about "that time of the month" lol and that is when it normally causes me grief as well as tension headaches, ugh i hate it!! :-+
