OH DEAR LORD I AM GEARED UP! lol. :yikes:

I have awesome looking Teal ligs on my top teeth, a lovely grey (which i am sure will stain of coffee soon) power chain on my bottom teeth and ELASTICS!! DUN DUN DUNNNNNNN! lol he said they were "dolphin" elastics, not idea what that means lol, but the little baggy has a pic of a dolphin on it so.. woot! lol.

I am at work at the moment but will post a few pics when i get home!

I cannot believe he is working on closing the bottom gaps ALREADY! its only been 3 months.. is this normal!??

I also asked him about my midline and he said it is off to the left and he will fix that for me in due course :) YAY!

I have to take my elastics off EVERYTIME I EAT... hrmm MAYBE this will help me lose weight so that i am not snacking every minute LOL. I have to wear them 24/7! :-+ so far i have A MASSIVE HEADACHE, and my bottom teeth are sore. BUT this is SO EXCITING :jump: and i cannot believe i am already in elastics and powerchain! I hope this upper lingual arch and nance come off soon!!! that would be nice!!! lol :dance:

anyway as I said i will post some pics tonight for you and also read some of your posts, i am so sorry, i have been so lazy lately!! :oops:

Yay! Looking forward to pics!!! Don't worry about the grey powerchain, mine didn't stain at all (even when I ate the curry, under SPAM it looked a teeny bit yellowish but it never faded and never stained-I'm freaking out about my clear one. CLEAR! EEK!!!!

Hang in there with the elastics! My daughter had them a few times. She said they're annoying but you get used to them. She never took hers out to eat. She thinks she ate at least a packets worth :P If they were gone when she was done she just shrugged and stuck a new one on :P

Hope the headache passes soon :(

oh awesome i hope mine doesn't stain then hehe :) i had a coffee today and so far so good lol.

my ortho told me to take them out to eat, but i think i could get used to eating with them in, but its hard to open my mouth up wide lol. HAHAHA i would probably end up eating a packet as well LOL that is funny. how cute she is like "meh" and just puts more on hehe.

thank hun, feeling ok, but SO HUNGRY today, i am trying really hard to stick to good calories! lol.

Mine said to take them out if I had to. But have the same setup as you (and two more). I can eat with them in, just really hard to open my mouth wide enough to do so.

You should ask for colored elastics also next time.

Wow, Rhibee!! Your teeth look amazing!!! Even your progression pics look identical to mine!! We are definitely teeth twins!!! I have an adjustment tomorrow! I'm so excited! I'll post some pics to my story!!!

I might try and eat stuff with mine in, I am on a soft diet at the moment so see how I go. I dont think i am brave enough for coloured elastics lol! plus they just gave me clear ones :)

so... can anyone say "OUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

i was awake half the night in agony. I have decided progress is GREAT BUT elastics and power chains SUCK!!! lol. I have never felt so much pain in my mouth with braces, i am in more pain than when I had spacers in and also extractions!! :-(* :-(( but i guess it has to be done and when i see the progress I will be happy, maybe it will shorten my sentence time? Its only been 3 months so i am too scared to ask how long it will be at the moment.

I just got some nerofen plus, which has codine in it, so here is hoping it will set in soon!

Oh hun, I know you're in pain but those teeth look AH-MA-ZING!!!!!!!!!! I'm super envious!!! Hang in there with the sore teeth, I hope they feel better soon!
