Okay so I've finally taken some better pics
First day compared to today - open mouthed smile:
3 days in and today upper arch:
And this is the little gap that is causing severe paranoia - should I be worried?
Please excuse the spit and the supersized pics! Hehe.

Yeh I might give the ortho a call on Monday then.
I didn't ask about the bottoms but Dr Schwartz said I should have that top tooth bracketed at my next adjustment or the one after. From the way he said it I gathered that first he is creating space for the bottom brackets and then moving the top tooth....so I'm hoping come June 22nd I'll be getting the bottoms on! Yay!

Just read your entire blog. Good thing you never settled for one ortho opinion. Thats so cool that your ortho didn't have to extract at all. Now, we kind of have the same treatment for similar bung tooth issues then. Isn't it crazy how orthodontist can expand room for so many teeth. Miracle workers indeed.
I'll keep checking in on your story for sure. Happy moving to you!

Yay another Aussie! Its good to see more of us on here
Thanks for asking tjstrout - the braces are not giving me any problems at all lately. My next adjustment is on May 22nd - just over a month - not June like I said in a previous post. I'm not seeing much movement lately - but Mum says she's noticed my arch has rounded out a bit.

Hiya, just been reading your journal. I do kickboxing too, and i did a semi contact competition also. Ive got another coming up on the 1st of june and i wear a gumshield over my braces.
I tryed them gumshields for braces but tbh they were crap so i just brought a cheap single gumsheild and wear it over my top teeth and thats fine for me.
Goodluck with your braces.
