well it has been a long time since i have updated. i was getting pretty frustrated with my braces. i thought things were looking really good, and then all of a sudden things went kind of wonky with my upper centrals!!!

my ortho has continued to tweak things and at adjustment 17 things really look pretty good aside from the gap between my right upper central and lateral. grrrrrrrr!

i have my next appointment on 4/30, and here is the really cool part. rather than the usual archwire adujustment, this one is for a check to debond. so we are really close :D

i am going to insist on fixing that gap first though.

after the braces come off i am going to get veneers on my two central lower incisors that are chipped (see pics) and bonding on my upper upper laterals as they are small. so we jsut need to even out that above mentioned gap :?

well onto the pics. these do NOT include the pics from my latest adjustment though. ill get those up soon :)

hey everyone, i got my braces off 1.5 years ago and was very happy with the results.

i started out with essix retainers but was switched to hawleys to help my bite settle in and have been back to ortho several times to have the retainers (which i wear every night) tweaked.

i feel like my lateral incisors ( which are small to starrt with) have retracted into the gums a bit, and the centrals have moved out giving a kinda buck tooth appearence.

am i just over reacting? what do you think? should i go back to ortho? i dont want to be a pest, but it kind of bothers me. :cry:

I am just curious..................how did you like the Victory Low Profile braces? I'm getting them next month so I'm asking around about opinions lol. Thank you!
