Ok, I did it! I had my braces put on my top teeth about an hour ago. I was so nervous! I couldn't stop shaking! It wasn't that bad. Nothing they did hurt me in any way. I didn't really taste any of that sour stuff that they use. So it went pretty well. I chose the pearl colored ligs. I don't want to draw any attention to them in any way! I have a cross bite, so as soon as my top front teeth come out over my bottom teeth, I can get my bottom braces on. The ortho said it shouldn't take but a few weeks! She had to put this thing on the back of one of my bottom teeth to keep my bottom teeth from hitting the braces on my top teeth. Hopefully that thingy will come of at my next appointment on July 13th. Okay, well here are some pics:

Ok, I had my first appointment today since I got my upper braces on June 15th. All they did was change my ligs, clip my wire, and put a wire tie on my right front tooth. Is that considered an adjustment? Anyway, here is a pic from day one and a pic from today:

Ok, I had my second adjustment yesterday. I had my wire changed, and I just stuck with the pearl ligs.

9 weeks
They are straight, but they look like they are going down hill.
