Its been well over two weeks since I got braced and I must say this site has been a huge help for me. I have posted a few pictures of what my mouth looks like(lol), my next adjustment is in 4 weeks

Hi Rage,
I have a crossbite on my left side(lower Arch) so my ortho could not have the lower braces put in . Most of the work will be on my lower arch the crossbite and crowding. so I'm hoping in 3months he should be able to have te lowers put in.

thats the reason my ortho will not put in the lowers yet because my upper teeth will hit the brackets.I have an overjet too do you have any idea how that would be corrected? forgot to ask my ortho?

Hey Vivie, Same as me...I did not get my bottom braces until 4 months later (June 2006) after I got upper braces put on on February 2006. Reason why my ortho did that is because I had 4mm overjet and 70 percents deepbites, she did not want upper brackets to hit bottom brackets. She wanted my upper teeth to widen first before she put braces on bottom. Now my top teeth already widen. Now I got braces on upper and bottom. It works real good! It did not even hit brackets at all. I see orthodontist got different opinions. Your teeth looks good! Take care.

Cute ligs. I punked out when I got braced so now i have clear, silver till sept. 19th. Hope ur journey goes well.

You are right about that Its been three weeks and I can definatley see improvemnts I will post more pics after my first adjustment.
