Hi guys!
I'm 25yo girl from Croatia
Got my upper braces bout month ago. Don't know when I'm getting lower.
Was reading bit your stories / journeys, and it's really inspiring
I still hate the way my teeth look so I won't put my pics yet.
Coz my upper jaw is bit crooked, I'm missing my 2nd upper left teeth (never grew)..basically it's all a big mess
My orthodontist told she's gonna pull my 2nd upper right teeth out,
bit scared of the way that's gonna look

Yesterday was my first check up, got pink rubber bands.
Think I'm gonna try all colors


Anyway, only 2 more years and my braces r off

Welcome to Archwired, Annie Lou! My teeth were a big mess before braces, too. Things sort out surprisingly fast and the end results can be pretty unbelievable. Good luck!

Ok, these r my teeth only 1 month after putting braces



Anyway;
I know it looks horrible (that's why I got braces )

Only change I've noticed so far is that now I got gap between my upper first two incisors.
I wish I could stay in house for next two years.. Especially after she pulls out my second right incisor.
+ I'm getting really nervous bout lower braces coz I've heard it hurts much more that upper

Btw. ripchord, I've seen pic of your teeth, they look awesome!!!

Ken, I'm still bit lost in all these journals, you've had to put braces again?? If yes, how come?

Your teeth do not look horrible, you should check mine out, I have crowding, overlay, gap from where they pulled my tooth, we all have problems with our smiles that's why we're here I like the pink on your clear brackets, (not sure what those things are called, lol) They put clear on mine and it's two weeks in and they are already yellow and I brush 5 times a day!! I'm going to have to get colored ones next time.

kayleighkelley, I got clear rubbers first time too, and mine got all yellowish in a week or so, no matter how much I brushed. So next time I took in pink color I figured, it's better they r colorful on purpose

Wow, your brace looks bigger in comparison to mine
Your teeth aren't so bad, mine is even more crowded, especially lowers, i had the same problem on my upper ones, but luckily there was enough place for them.

Actually I have rather small mouth and teeth, that's why my braces looks so big

I can't wait to see some progress!
So far, I only see the gap that is starting to appear between my first two incisors
and I don't wanna have teeth like Madonna

Yea, taking pictures is awesome. For me, it's a sort of therapy - it allows me to see results and start thinking about the long term benefits, rather than the short term downsides.

Hi Annie Lou! I'm glad you posted pictures of your teeth. It's so great to watch the progress as folks move through the process. I've gotten so that when I look at "before" pictures, I visualize how a person's teeth will look once they've straightened out. Your teeth are very pretty, so I predict you are going to have an awesome result! I hope you will keep the pics coming!
