hello! 41 years old and got braces two days ago!

Hi. I got my upper braces on tuesday and then the expander on my bottom teeth yesterday. My mouth is killing me! I am just getting the hang of how best to use the dental wax. I have sores on my cheeks and tongue. owie.
I am excited at the idea of having straight teeth in 8 months. YAY!
I am so glad to have found this website. i need to go to bed (it's 3 a.m. lol). I look forward to reading and learning as much as I can.

Lower expander: 4/15/09.
First wire tightening: 4/28/09.
Lower braces: 5/13/09

Ceramic on top; metal on bottom.
