My journey? I don't know what else to call it?

#1 Post by Muffin »

Ok well I have just booked in for the 4th of february for my orthodontic consultation. Before that I will need to go and get the x rays of my face mouth etc. When i tell people I am getting teeth they call me crazy lol. My teeth appear to be straight but i pulled my two canines out due to stress, when i was 13 so one grew in up way higher than all my other teeth, Other one is about 1/4 grown in after a year. The grown canine is pushing my other teeth in and bending them. On my bottom teeth one is twisting 360 style. Apparently I have to get a button and chain on my half grown canine to pull it down. I take extremely good care of my teeth, brush twice a day floss a few times a day stay away from sugar and acidic food. I seem to be the only person I've talked to about braces that is excited about them. I can't wait! February 4 is too long away! But i'll have to wait, it WILL be worth it. :D
Consultation: 4th of february

Hi Muffin :D ,

Welcome to the club. You'll find lots of support & info here. There are also plenty of people here who are excited to have (or soon to have) braces, so you're not alone. I'm one of them. I already had braces once as an adult, and am now in the planning stage of getting them again. I've read lots of people's stories here, and it seems many of us are excited about fixing our smiles.

My next consult w/ the ortho is in a couple of weeks, so I'm at a similar point as you - looking forward to being braced early in the new year. Check out my story if you like in The Bracket Club under "Preparing For Braces...Second Time Around". See ya...

Hey Muffin,

Congrats on making the decision to get a beautiful smile! I just got my braces on this past Monday and am still adjusting, but still super excited to be on my way. You can check out my story if you like by clicking on the www at the bottom of my post. Can't wait to follow your story, goodluck.
