sooooo at 25 years old I got braces today!!! whoop whoop im so excited and with the help of my boyfriend I was able to get thru this day pretty fine:) The experience went very very cool! I have Speed braces which are quicker than ceramic and invasilign and thats why I went with them. The process didnt take long at all I swear i was finshed in a 45mins total Wowzers!!!!

I am so ready to see some progress to close this huge gap btwn my front teeth

Im home right now relaxing with my son not feeling any pain so far. I just cooked some spaghetti and im sooo ready to eat it but ima give it another 20 mins until i gain some courage to eat

Im soo happy I made this decision and trust me I have my motrin on hand for the pain i have coming to me tonight/tomorrow!!

I also got braced on Thursday so i know what you re going through. Thursday was nt too bad but the real pain started yesterday. My 4 front teeth feel like they are going to break at any minute. Having a lot of trouble eating. Did Manage some pasta today but thsts the first solid food i ve eaten since wednesday.

Oh wow glad to have some1 that started the journey with me. What ones did u get? I have speed all metal braces . Yes I ate spaghetti the 1st night and to my surprise I have no pain at all just feels very weird with these things in my mouth

I got metal braces top and bottom. Have the white attachements on the visible teeth and metal on the hidden teeth.
I m getting used to them now but i still cant bite down on anything. Dinner took me about 40 mins to eat last night

How are you finding cleaning your teeth. I m brushing 4 times a day but my teeth sometimes still dont feel clean. I m using a manual ortho tooth brush. I must go online and try to find an electric brush or would that be bad for the braces. I know nothing about this
