Hi urs10, welcome to the club! I'm looking forward to seeing your pics. It's always nice to follow other's progress.

When I got spacers I didn't have a choice of colors. They were a bright, medium shade of blue. But they were far enough back in my mouth that I didn't think they were too noticeable. Except maybe when I was yawning! I recall that they didn't hurt right away, but worked up to being rather sore after a few hours. It seems weird, but it really helped to chew (lightly at first) to ease the pain. Must be like giving a baby a teething ring!

I hope you're doing okay with your new spacers. Let us know how it goes!

Yeah, no one sees spacers (or will care to) anyway...mine were blue. No big deal. I felt fine the whole first day I had them, at normally. Days 2-7 were pretty sore and tender...beyond that (I had them in on the bottom for 2 weeks, on top for 4 weeks) I didn't even feel them and I ate normally.

Good luck

Congratulations on your decision! Ugh, spacers! My experience with them was the worst I've had on my brace journey so far. Now when I have an appointment I make sure I'm well medicated!

Good luck!
