The story of mine's

#1 Post by bluemoon »

Hello ther
I finally decided to join this forum after a long reading about braces. I've had my braces put in august :) . I made this decision and i'm so happy i did! I mean my parents would've supported me anyway (You know, parents.... ) but it was more of a self-esteem issue, and of happiness of course.
So i got braces, got over the 'bitter attitude' of others, the paaaaaain and joined the life-changing process watching the changes with my very own eyes :D.

And now the most important thing
august-november

Hey, thanks for dropping by and for the nice words:D.
I went to the orthodontist yesterday and ....I hate how it feels when the ligatured are being replaced :(( she was also pleased with how my teeth moved ,I assume in 6 months they will be straight .She had 'reshaped' the expander and activated it (!?), or maybe she meant reactivated BUT thank god it's not cutting through my tongue anymore.....Anyway I stood longer than usual to find out she had put these metal ligatures or whatever they are on a few teeth from the lower arch and Ugh! they hurt so bad now :( . So the next appointment is in january when she'll take off the expander and change the upper archwire with a thicker one and only then I will be able to talk like a normal person.
Also I need to extract the wisdom teeth ..till then i guess. Yay for Christmas :|

poppy123 She said it's for shaping my arch in a semi oval form though i'm not sure ..it seems pretty semi oval to me:D As from what i read from the internet it's mostly used for expansion and some girl told me it's for keeping the molars in place. Pf..if anyone knows for sure please do enlight me.

I must've had all the types of tooth pain and when i'll be over with braces I swear i'll brush my teeth many many times per day and i'll stop eating candies!! *lies* :D

Oh by the way, has anyone had their wisdom teeth extracted during braces?
I'll keep you posted when other changes will occur, until then
All the best,
bluemoon
