Hi folks my name is Laura. I'm 25 and have just been fitted with a fixed brace on both upper and lower teeth.

I've been told to expect to have them for around 18 months.

Just thought Id register on here for some support/helpful tips etc from the experience brace wears on here.

Incidentally I got my braces on the same date 10th August, '12. I'm 25 too. From India.
All the best for your braces journey!

My estimated time is 18 months- 1minimum a year in metal braces and then retainers. Have got the braces on the uppers for now.
