Hi everyone,
I'm 21 years old and got my braces on 26th of september. Thankfully, I haven't had any pain besides some cheek irritation from the hooks thus far. My treatment time is supposed to be between 15-16 months. I have chosen to go metal both top and bottom. But i haven't got my bottom braces yet.
I have very minor crowding at the bottom. My real problem is on my top arc. I have crooked teeth and a narrow upper jaw. My right side is good but my left side is really bad. So my first premolar on the left has been pulled to make room for my vampire canine tooth. It's been only a month but, I see minor changes already. I have some pics:

Congrats on being braced! It looks like you have very nice teeth so they're going to look AMAZING once this is all over

I'd love to follow your progress as it seems that we are in the same boat, because I have a crossbite too which my ortho is trying to fix with braces and elastics ( I was recommended surgery but declined, at least for now).
Is your ortho also trying to fix your crossbite? Were you recommended surgery as well or does your ortho think he can fix it with braces alone! I hope he can fix it with braces and I think you can have good hope !!!
By the way, I think your before- pictures are not that bad, I actually think your smile is very friendly and lovely. And I am sure your smile will be really great when you are done!!!! Once again, good luck with your treatment!

Thanks a lot for your good compliments My ortho said that he can fix my crossbite with braces alone. I don't know why but he didn't want to go with surgery he said my problem wasn't so bad. Anyway i hope he can fix that with braces and elastics This thursday i have my first adjustment and i'm so excited.
I'd love to follow your progress too:) I'm actually looking your story right now. You are right. It's looks like we have the same problems. I'm happy with your results. I think braces and elastics works on you. Loved your smile;) Your teeth looks really white and nice shaped. I'm sure they will look gorgeous at the end of treatment.

Hi everyone
My first adjustment was good. I got a power chain. My ortho didn't change my wire. He is trying to pull my canine back and close the extraction gap. After that he will pull my canine down. He said that my teeth is moving fast. And he said i 'll be brace free in January,2015 . I'm soooo happy
Here is my powerchain. It is clear and hard to see in the photo. It is attached from my first molar to my canine tooth.

Hi everyone I had my second appointment yesterday. My wire is still the same and i have a metal ligature on my left canine. There is a lot of improvement. I'm so happy

Last thursday I had an appointment with my ortho. He didn't change my wire again. Is that normal?
My teeth is moving really fast.
