Braces and glasses! Geel chic style

Hi Everyone,

So pleased to find this place, I am getting fastbraces fitted tomorrow and have to say I am slightly terrified, but reading many positive comments on here is helping!

I had a brace when I was 12 (I am now 35) and it is fair to say that I hated it! Not so much the pain, but my dentist was a truly terrifying character! it was so awful, that once the brace was removed I never stepped foot in a dentist again for seven years!
But now, like many others who didn't get a retainer, my teeth have moved, so after much thought I decided to go for it again... I found a lovely dental practice with friendly staff and will get fastbraces fitted (upper and lower) tomorrow morning.

It seems that in the UK Fastbraces are quite new and there is limited information / reviews so I thought it would be helpful to share my experience.

Today, one of my biggest worries is about what foods I might have to temporarily give up for fear of staining the braces, if anyone has any advice that would be great.

I'm 29 and getting my braces in 2 days and I feel the same as you- embracing the geek chic! And food is my favorite thing, so I worry about that too. As far as staining, I plan on going all out and getting fun bright colored ligatures and hopefully stains won't be noticeable!
