Hi guys !!! Well I'm now three months old (perhaps I should lose the "new boy" tag now, eh?) and have had my second adjustment so thought I'd give a progress update....
Not much has happened to close the gap on the bottom arch (I've only 3 teeth there as I had one removed because it was twisted so badly). But i'm pleased with the easing of the crowding on top - there's even a couple of temporary teeny-tiny gaps there aswell. I haven't had gappy teeth since I was 10 years old!!!! I've gone back 20 years!!!
Will do some more pics in a while, in the meantime I'm hoping that my lower trio get themselves shiftin'!!!
Wow james, only 3 months and I see a SIGNIFICANT change in your smile already! I've only been in mine for about 1 and a half, and I haven't seen any significant changes with my smile. Your pics motivate me and give me hope Good luck with your treatment? How many more months do you have?
Hi again, thanks so much for the replies and the positive comments!
I'm due to be behind bars for 8 months but I'm hoping that my sentence will be reduced if my teeth can sustain their good behaviour...
That means that I should be free by December at the latest, and getting naked would be the best Christmas present ever.
jmpmntwnty3, I know exactly what you mean because when I was first in braces I was also really encouraged and motivated by seeing other peoples' progress, and I still am!! Sometimes it can seem that not much is happening but it's vital to keep positive.
