Straightening already..

I can not believe how fast my teeth are starting to straighten out. The bottom ones are in complete alignement already and the top were uneven and are almost the same lenght now. I have not even been for the first alignment yet. Does this usually happen so soon? The braces do not even hurt that much.

That is great! how long has it been since you first got your braces?

Yep, mine did the same thing...only I didn't get the no pain no gain part. I actually had to stay home from work the 2nd and 3rd day I had braces because it felt like someone hit me in the face with a baseball bat!

But yes...within the first week or two of having braces, I had a HUGE amount of movement (hence the pain I think). It's so motivating! But then yes, if you have any bite adjustments....be prepared that those usually take a bit longer to see results with.
