Forbes Magazine says Orthodontics one of the top paying jobs

#1 Post by Betty Bat »

Just saw something from Forbes Magazine (www.forbes.com) that listed the 25 top paying jobs - I think it's just in the US.

Orthodontist was ranked about #4 and oral surgeon was way up there also. I thought the biggest surprise was how many orthodontists there were right now - I would have thought there were a lot more than 5200:

No. In Employment: 5,200

Top-Paying Industry: Offices of Dentists ($179,260*)

According to this article, Orthodontics doesn't even rank in Canada as a top-paying career...however, psychologist is #4...good thing I'm in Psychology at uni! :D
