Hahaha I don't own anything purple. My pens, socks, shirts, dresses, unmentionables, manual toothbrushes, bedding, teddy bears, teddy bunnies, and picture freames are all pink. I'm always having a pink party. Purple to you is pink to me. But! I will go with anything not purple, dark blue, yellow, or kelly green. Give me another suggestion PUHLEEESE!!!

Thank you all for the kind words to help remind me of why I'm doing this.

Cwatt- I am a smoker and for some reason, my teeth have always been pretty white, I just never realized that. I used to bleach my teeth because I didn't believe my teeth were white. After I bleached them, they never really looked too different. It must be the constant use of flouridated toothpates and drinking things through a darn straw! I'm a pain when I go out to eat, I can't just use the glass. I always insist on a straw for my drink. You forgot to leave a color sugggestion. :?

Seriously - I'm really thinking Turquoise or going back to clear for 3 weeks. :D

You're right Miss Smiley, I did forget! I agree with seriously -- turquoise would be a nice color!

(I don't get to choose since I've got these boring self-ligating brackets... and I don't think I'll be getting powerchains.)

I'm only getting turqoiuse on the bottom, I'm thinking of another color for the top. My birthday is coming up in a couple weeks and the Mister and I go on our joint birthday dinner. We get into our old prom clothes (okay not that cheesy) but you get the picture. He doesn't like to go to posh places to eat because he's more of a steak and potatoes kind of man. So I get two nights out of the year to have my nice dinner and take pictures of us looking all spiffy. One night being our birthdays and the other is our anniversary. I kind of don't want to have my birthday dinner pics with turqoise as it may not match the color dress I'll be wearing.

BUT TURQUOISE IT IS!

Look at those gaps opening...it's a trade off. I'm not sure which one I was happier with.

Adjustment update

#102 Post by Miss Smiley »

Today, I was told by the ortho that my teeth are moving nicely into place. He did a little bit of IPR on the lowers. OMG, that was so uncomfortable!!!!!! I don't like the feeling of it. Then, I left at 9:45am. I ran an errand, came home to have a bite to eat. I wentto brush my teeth and noticed that two of the ligs were not clear but looked like glow in the dark! Also, one of the wires was cutting me up again so I decided to go back instead of waiting my usual 3 weeks. I went in and he took a look and filed it down. Next I stopped by the assistant who put the ligs on this morning and asked her if the o-rings looked funny in color. She and apologized that they were mismatched and we had a good laugh. After she finished she asked me to check them before I left in case I wanted to switch out colors. I was happy with clear and turquoise for the time being. Of course, below are the pics!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Miss Smiley!

Great pictures! How do you get them so detailed?

Your teeth are looking beautiful! Love the turquoise powerchains!

Glad you were able to get that pesky wire taken care of quickly and easily. I don't care much for Pokey Wires -- their music drives me nuts.

Your teeth are looking amazing! (and not to mention blindingly white! ) Why do your pictures say Aug 8 on them?

Agreeing with everyone else, the turquoise looks great! I, too, am curious about what's in the box. ;)

SHoot, Milk, I must have been rushing to put those pics up because it should have said the 4th. I went back and photoshopped it over but just to note, those pictures are from AUGUST 4TH!! :D

Karen, JTlang, BracedAgain, Seriously, Cwatt - Thanks for the birthdays wishes, but I haven't revealed what was in the box because my birthday is on the 18th. So, the mister gave me those early and wants me to wear those on my birthday. I actually got two boxes, one slightly bigger than the other. I'm thinking it's a necklace and bracelet because he's no good at picking out earrings. Rings, he likes me to try on in the store.

Since yesterday, these poer chains have mde some crazy movement. I am now able to stick a proxabrush between my canine and laterals. INSANE! I hope I don't look too gappy during dinner.
