I feel - NOTHING!

#1 Post by michelle88 »

Hi,

I'm on my 3rd tray of Invisalign, and since I started, I feel absolutely nothing. My dentist said, that could be normal, but I cannot believe that it should work, there's no pressure, nothing.

On one hand I'm happy not having pain, but one the other hand, i'm not sure if it'll work like that? Has anyone experience with no pain?

Thank you
Michelle

If I were you I would enjoy the "no Pain" time you are having. I didnt have any either until my 5th tray. Then it was like OUCH! :yikes: Even to the point where I ate just soup for 3 days. Last night I put in tray 6 and was expecting the worst, but there is absolutely no pain with this one either. I have had significant movement that is visable to the naked eye. I wouldnt worry too much, people's pain preception is so varied, what may be no pain for you might be killer pain to someone else.

Hey there. I got my first tray last week. Other than minor pressure, I can't say I can feel any pain at all. It was a bit tender to eat for the first day or so. I'm wondering if Invisalign ease you in on the first tray so you don't run a mile!

I think it varies from aligner to aligner. Last week I put in 16 of 18 on the top and MAN did that hurt for a couple of days - even in my nose!

I had a ton of pressure on the front teeth which I hadn't had up to that point, but I was actually happy about it because those hadn't moved very much previously.
