Hi all! I just got iBraces on top and bottom and so far, so good. My teeth were definitely sore for a week or so. My ortho did them separately so I just got the top ones put on Monday. I have had the bottom ones on for 2 weeks now. It is nice to have a forum to be able to speak to people who know EXACTLY what I am going through!

Hi. Adjusting ok. I wasn't expecting this transition period. I am a true believer in no pain, no gain but as a person who loves to eat, this has been tough for me! I am hoping by the end of next week, the soreness on my top teeth will be gone. I am trying to take everyone's advice about talking and singing to myself to help me get used to the braces.

LOL!
Hello Sunflowera! That made my day! My husband was most concerned about my performing a certain "act" on him as well.. we attempted it this past weekend, slowly.. I was still sore from having my mouth prodded and open for 2 hours... not the same! Hopefully these next 15-18 months will go quickly!!!!! Bad luck.. Friday, I was eating lunch when something didn't feel right.. you guessed it, one of the brackets fell off.. I made an emergency appointment, had to drive to a different office took two hours.. Saturday morning, guess what? Same one fell off again.. I just took it out myself and put in in a baggy.. Haven't called them to schedule an appointment to put it back in.. I am going to wait til next week so I can atleast enjoy a meal or 2 this weekend without sore teeth! Anyone else have this happen to them? Frustation, frustration!!!
