There was a thread about this a couple of years ago. If you search you should find it.

I just searched all over the lingual forums and there seems to be no answer to this question. I am getting linguals on the 22nd of July and had the same concern when my ortho was selling me on lingual as opposed to invisalign.

In the lobby of his office I met a girl with full upper and lower linguals and I asked her about kissing. She said the same day she got them should kissed her man no problem then went on the say "NOTHING was a problem". I took that to mean oral.

So hope that helps. And sure hope she was right!

Ok, i'm going to be blunt here, because I see no point in beating around the bush, and people clearly need this answered.

I have had no problems doing this so far, but I do admit that i'm a little catious about doing it because I do not want to do any damage. It will all depend on the size of his member, and the size of your mouth. We are all made differently, so some may have more problems than others.

I would say that the best thing to do is simulate the action with your finger in your mouth, (or two, or 3, depending on how thinck ur fella's member is  ) If you can feel any brackets on your finger(s), then it's likely he will feel those brackets too, and his member will be 1000 times more sensitive than your finger. So before you do it, wax up those pokey brackets! Possibly wax them all, it wont harm and you will feel more at ease too. It does mean you need to do some preparation before the event, of course, but better that than any accidents that could cause bleeding. You have to think about STDs here too - you dont want blood in your mouth if you dont the guy's HIV status. If you get the silicone wax, that stuff has quite a smooth, slippery surface. Ive found only top brackets need covering, because bottom brackets are covered by the tongue.

Make sure you are in control of the movements. It's not a good idea to let him shove it in and out roughly. You need to control the angle it is going in at  You will probably not realise, but when you are doing it, you should hopefully be trying to keep your teeth as far away from his 'piece' as you can anyway. This is true even if you dont have braces, but it doesnt hurt to be a little catious. So open wide and keep the movements slow!! Possibly dont put as much of it in your mouth or let it go too deep at first. Once you learn what you can fit in there, it will get easier, you will feel more confident. And if you are not enjoying it because it's making you too worried, then simply dont do it. You wont have braces for ever! He can wait.

I've had my upper linguals on for 1.5 years and have never had a problem with oral sex. In fact, my boyfriend raves about it

That’s an interesting topic! I’ve heard mixed experiences—some say it takes a bit of getting used to, while others find it enhances sensitivity in unexpected ways. I guess it really depends on the individual and how comfortable both partners are with adapting. Communication is key in these situations!
