Any number of the specially designed GUM products should do the trick, e.g.:

Give it a try
Specially designed for this. Poke it in as far as possible on the one side, and same on the other side (inside of the mouth). There are all sorts of kinds, even thinner than that one in the link:

should be a url not the image

I've never used Crest Glide. Is it a tape-type floss, meaning flat and wide rather than round? If so, read no further.
I use Oral-B Satin Floss (comes in a blue plastic box). It's flat and wide rather than round. If you can't find that brand look for ones that say "tape" The flatter tape-type floss is much easier (in my opinion) to get between tight places. I was using it pre-braces as well because I had major crowding and regular round type floss was nearly impossible to get between some of my teeth.

When I first got braces, I had the same problem. Try as I might, I just could not get floss up in there at first. In the end thought, I managed to kind of force it past the molar band so I could floss properly – and since then it’s been a lot easier to floss back there, probably due to minute shifting of the molars themselves due to the braces. So, I haven’t got any specialist materials for you, but if you keep trying, you'll probably get there in the end.
Good luck!
Good luck!

I have very crowded teeth and I use that Oral B satin floss too. I tried using threader floss after getting braces -YUCK. I will never use antything else. I have had no problems around molar bands with the oral B satin floss.

I'm having the same issue... I can't even get the glide floss between one of my molars... it's rather frustrating. I'm trying to use one of those super floss things with the pointy end but it it's impossible on my very back tooth... I'll check out those links people gave... maybe I'll find something that works.
You could always try using a waterpik too. The water will get where you can't get the floss, so it'll be better than nothing.

I too had the same problem right after my braces went on. Mine have only been on a few days longer than yours. I have recenlty been able to get my floss between the molar with a band and the one behind it. I don't know if there was extra glue (from the banding) that needed to wear off or if it is because my banded molars moved which allowed my floss to be inserted.
Either way, I am now able to floss there. I am still afraid that I will pop off the band so I am careful when I floss between those teeth and pull the floss out from the side instead of pulling up.
I'm sure you'll eventually be able to floss those molars soon. Until then, brush them well and use a good fluoride rinse.
