I'm so glad you posted this, as I've been thinking of what I can do for my Orthodontist and his whole office.
I've been trying to think of something that can be displayed so that others can see. For example, maybe a nice small picture with a plate engraved "To the greatest ortho team... thanks for everything!".
The only other thing I could think of was a bunch of lottery tickets. I'd wait til after my treatment is done though, in case they win big and head for warmer climates LOL!
I would include a card with a nice message that they could place on a bulletin board. I just think it would be nice for other patients to see.
I think a short letter of appreciation that they can include on their website or in their brochure material would be the best gift you can give them. After all, most people only bother to voice their opinions when they are negative ones, so getting a rave review is always welcome. You can also offer yourself as a reference for anyone who wants to talk first hand to someone who received treatment from the office.
I am going to crochet something for their office, like a wall hanging. They know I crochet because I bring yarn in to almost every appointment and work on it while I'm in the waiting room
Good point! I don't pay my ortho's office staff to be so nice to me though, even though I'm giving them $4700. I except them to be respectful, but my office actually cares --- they ask me personal questions remember my responses from the time before, the little things. They have really made me feel cared for, which I have rarely felt at any doctor's office before. They deserve something extra!
