Well, I'm going into college soon & I've been self-conscious about my teeth since I was a kid. I now finally have the chance to get braces. After reading about invisalign, I'm very excited but I've heard of it costing 5k to 8k in many cases and I just can't afford that.. do you think I could possibly get my teeth fixed with the 10-tray express pack or, say, $3000 max? Or am I being a little too hopeful?
Also, if you have a case similar to mine I'd like to know how much it cost you.. thanks

Hi there and welcome
The best thing to do would be go and arrange a few consultations and ask orthodontists the same question.
If money is tight though, don't cross out getting fixed braces - they can give you a better result, and I'm sure there'll be a few other people at college with them on. A few people with Invisalign (me included) also found they were not so bothered about visible braces after starting treatment. I got so excited about the process that I told everyone I had braces anyway!

I can see the pictures now. I don't see any big problems with any of your teeth. It looks like they are all in about the right place, they just need to be aligned a little bit. It's hard to see your bite by the molars, but it looks pretty good. If I were a betting man, I would say there's a chance you could have only 10 aligners.
I think I read somewhere that teeth should only move 0.25mm per aligner. Based on that if each tooth has to move less than 2.5mm, then you would need 10 aligners or less.
