I order wax from the following website - http://www.orthostore.co.uk/ which was fine.
I am a nearly 3 months in but have stopped wearing it all together. I was wearing wax all the time in the beginning but started to cut back on it to let my mouth get used to the metal and now do not need it at all.
Also I went back to the dentist as I had 2 real problem wires that was cutting the underside of my tongue to pieces and he has now put plastic over them which has stopped the wire cutting up my tongue.
all the best

Sam, I still use wax 6 mths in, admittedly its getting less, UK supplier:
http://www.orthostore.co.uk
They also do orthosil, which takes some getting used to using, but is great and lasts a bit longer than wax.

Lucid-
on the top linguals- I tend to need wax on the back molars- I have to role it into a very small sausage and place it kinda on the brackets. this stops it catching on my tounge.
I have been able to reduce my wax- I only need it on one side now.
- most of the time I usually get a wax free week about a week before my adjustment- then its back to full wax again.
I have tried going with out but end up with such a sore tounge -it's then difficult to speak.
Meryaten- I will have a look for orthosil- it depends on how much it is though?
Rolo, sad sam- thanks for the web site- i will check it out.
Lion fish- I get two free wax's everytime i go to ortho- they dont like giving out more- so I have to go back every few weeks . They won't let me buy it from them as its free.
