How do you cope with eating something while not at home?
My ortho suggested that I use the small brush they supplied and rinse with water, but DANG - I just seem to keep a 1/4 of my food in my braces no matter how much I rinse!!!
I have my Friday 'date night' with my fiancee tomorrow and I hate the idea of having to excuse myself 5 times during our meal to make my mouth less disgusting...
Do you just take a travel toothbrush with you everywhere?
I appreciate any insight...
Thanks.
Going out to eat?

The nice thing about linguals is that even if you do have food stuck in your braces, no one can see it --- although you can certainly feel it.
I've had my uppers for 2 months and lowers for about 2 weeks and I guess, I could be accused of not brushing enough, but I really haven't had anything really stuck in my mouth (again, that anyone could see).
