Who's Having Surgery in December???

I will be having lower jaw advancement of 6-7mm and a genio to reduce my chin once it's moved forward....Dec 31st but that may change.

I'm having upper jaw, lower jaw, and genioplasty on December 18. December's not too far away! Best of luck!

Krikri...not to far away and it will be here before you know it...right before Christmas too...ouch...no fudge for you.

Spiral...are you counting down the days...it's only a few short weeks away. I'll be anxious to hear how your both progressing post surgery. Any nervousness setting in yet?

So what are you all doing to prepare yourselves??? I just purchased a few Zip N Squeeze bags for both pureed and liquid that's all I've done so far.

I think its called a le fort 1 or something! My upper jaw is being moved up and back a bit!

Well... I actually ended up having my appendix out this weekend! So I'm not sure where that leaves me with jaw surgery... going to give my OS a ring tomorrow and see what he says.

I'm really looking forward to the surgery, but I'm not looking forward to not being able to eat a great Christmas dinner

But oh well, I'll make up for it as soon as my 5 weeks of liquid diet are up .

Spiral, I'm sorry to hear about your appendix. Hopefully everything can go ahead as planned with the jaw surgery. Keep us updated!

I can't believe December is only 2 weeks away!

krikri306, Im having mine on the 18th too! I am getting my lower jaw pushed back, my upper jaw forward and all four wisdom teeth out. Joy oh joy

I was actually meant to have mine in May, then July, I was then booked for early September, but I came down with a bad cold a few days before. I think Im cursed. haha

Princessnini, we're having the same exact surgery wisdom teeth included! I hope you can really get the surgery this time around!

Mine is on Dec 9th. Lower jaw advancement. I'm excited but starting to get very nervous about it too. I just want the wait and buildup finally over with and be on the other side of surgery recovering...

My name is Russ and I am having surgery on Dec. 9th! I'm really nervous, but I'm sure everything will be fine. I have braces right now, and have had them for 11 months, and I'm having my upper jaw brought forward and rotated.

Ha im very nervous... and a little excited to get the surgery part over with. Good luck with yours! I'll let you know how im doing.
