Spring time and braces..

#1 Post by danish »

Am I the only one who thinks that it sucks more to be in braces during Spring time than during the other seasons?

because everything in nature comes to life again and you want to be part of that without being impaired or inhibited. Sorry for being a bit negative, but I'm just wondering if others feel the same?

Dont really feel anything that has to do with the seasons, I think I dislike them all year round now.

The sad part is, I'm just realizing once they are off its not thet end of it

Having to wear retainers 24/7 is almost just as bad, after waiting all this time...

Although In 37 days I'll be able to feel smooth teeth again.

Just thinking I got my braces on 6 days ago and I have probably a year or 1.5 left to wear them makes me think there are no good seasons at all.

Probably a temporary low point. I just started with this long journey, but I'm already thinking about retainers and how I'm able to eat and drink everything without any uncomfort again, just like in the good ole' days.

The seasons will always come and go. But your teeth once they are gone will not come back.

Better to fix them now and maintain for as long as you can, because once they gone they ain't never coming back. 8)

I kind of feel that way too. I feel like my bigger winter/fall clothes take away from the large amounts of metal in my mouth.

When I am wearing a spring dress I feel like my braces are more on display.

If that makes any sense at all...hard to explain. :?:

spring is still kinda cold here... but i get your drift. Summer is going to suck! There just seems to be so much more socializing and parties and going out. Hanging out in a park or a beach where its just not possible to run to the bathroom and brush your teeth after you eat. Just had an expander put in and six more months of it means i'll have it in the summer.... not looking forward to that.

I started to get annoyed with my braces at the one year mark. Lately though, I'm really sick of my braces. I never thought my feelings could be tied to the seasons, but maybe they are......
