Biting feels wobbly!

#1 Post by Impulse »

Can anyone put my mind at rest.I have read from previous topics on here that your teeth can feel loose- thats fine- I understand- but does anyone else have a 'rubbery' feeling when they try to bite? Top teeth braced 15 days ago, pain for 3 days but now if I try to chew, where my bite is out, changing daily, top teeth just feel like their slightly bending where they are trying to get a purchase on lower teeth, cannot chew anything. I can live with this, soup, shakes and cutting up sandwiches, have a long way to go and will be worth it. Felt the slight 'click' i see mentioned in one of front teeth last week and that one most sensitive. So grateful for this site  Looking forward to 1st adjust-NOT!!!

Yes, I too was braced 15days ago, I have the same feeling, although since a few days ago I have been able to use my front teeth to bite into stuff....but my bite seems off, It feels like it's change 2x now, I have a wobbly feeling in my lower molars.........eating is still a challenge, but I can do soft sandwiches and the like. salmon for dinner--should be fine, making the family corn on the cob, :( Guess I'll have to cut mine off the cob like an old lady :(

The good news is it sounds like your teeth are moving! The bad news is you'll have to get used to that feeling! It's been over two months for me and I still have it. The pain and "wobbly" feeling is going to shift from tooth to tooth and possibly back again. All I can tell you is you do get used to after several weeks. Sorry for the bad news!
