feedback on progress

i have a blog i would like for you to look at and comment. I am having problems with staining of clear ligatures. any tips would help. Also comment on the progress so far. only 6 weeks into braces. thank u so much and if you have any questions..please feel free to ask!

Clear ligatures will always stain. There's really nothing you can do about that other than to choose a more stain resistant color. If you do a search you can find some threads on this topic. I "think" some of the colors that are more stain resistant are "smoke" and "silver", but I'm not sure about the silver.

As an avid coffee drinker, I deal with staining a lot. I tried the Smoke, which are supposed to be more stain-resistant, but I had better luck with the Silver. The Smoke stained in literally days, whereas the Silver lasted for at least the first two weeks before becoming noticeably discolored. I keep Silver on the uppers, and alternate colors on my lowers.

do u put silver ligatures with clear brackets?? or do u have the silver brackets as well? if u put them on clear do u have any pics? i would love to see how they look before i try them. im scared to get colored ligs on clear brackets.
