It's been almost 40 months since this "24 month" journey began. I'm MORE than ready.

The reason for my interest: I'm 29 and got damon braces 2 weeks ago for a deepbite and crowding. So it's so cool to see your pictures, I'm so eager for my teeth to make the progress yours have!

2 weeks after that, NAKED TEETH!

your teeth looking beautiful, i am just wondering if u have bracket on ur back teeth we got the same extraction and theres no bracket on my back teeth and it is left behind now making a gap in between.did u have the same problem, i appreciate if u could share me

I get my retainer impressions made tomorrow and some of the molar bands will come off as well. I'm excited that after wearing elastics for more than 2 and a half years, that I'll be saying good riddance to them tomorrow. (I won't wear elastics once the retainer impression is made, will I? I don't think they want anything to move in the time it takes to make the retainer?) Yippee!

A set of molar bands taken off and impressions made. Rubber bands only at night for the next two weeks and the metal comes off on June 25, 2009!

Hey, flygirl. Congratulations! Your teeth look great! I bet you're excited to finally be getting the braces off.

I just got braces 6 months ago and recently discovered these boards. After seeing your story today, I decided to sign up and share mine. Our cases are almost identical, it's amazing... I just hope my results are as good as yours! Anyway, I will post my intro and story with pics later this evening when I get home.

Two hours at the orthodontist this morning (he's a busy guy with lots of patients) and I'm no braces free! Hawley retainer on the top (in BLUE and bonded lower retainer. I'll post pictures when I get home from work.
