Just a quick question I have no idea if anyone of you will know anything about but..
My lower lip seems to "droop" a little bit more , (3 weeks post op now), and I still dont have feeling in most of it.
Could this be a symptom of muscle weakness/ numbness, and may go away?
I hope so.
Thanks,
Zach

totally agree, because your lower lip is still feeling pretty numb you most likely don't have much feeling in the lower lip so tha why its drooping a bit. Once you get feeling back more and once you can feel more that will go away. It just takes time. In terms of numbness its hard to say when you will get the feeling back. Every person is different in the way they heal and when they gain feeling back.

Mine has drooped more ever since getting lower jaw surgery. I think in my case, it's because the lower jaw was pulled forward and my lip was way stretched. I still have some numbness (a year since my surgery) in my lower lip and chin. I keep hoping mine will bounce back more, but I'm doubtful. I know they (surgeons) say numbness does not = paralysis, but I think I disagree to a certain extent.
