Wired Shut - Straw Recommendation

#1 Post by chuck609 »

I am wired shut - now going on 4 weeks...out of a likely 6.

I found this glass straw - very strong and wide, that has made my "eating" more comfortable. The straw is made to Corelle specs, so it is very strong with no chance of breakage. I use it for every meal, and wanted to share the information. Just Google up Glass Dharma and you'll find it. I'm not affiliated in any way with this company, but it has really improved my ability to slurp down my meals.

Any of you wired out there, I'd be happy to share my "recipes" from a non-cook.

I'm wired too.. the funniest thing is my company that I work for is all about being "green" and our straws are made out of a sugar substance. They are great for cold fluids but melt in hot fluids.

I prefer the bendy straws. Less dribble.

Bubble Tea straw might also be useful, if you have anywhere around that sells bubble tea or Asian grocery store to buy them from. They're about half an inch in diameter so you can get thicker liquids up them.
