I've wanted braces since I was a teenager. My bottom teeth are crowded & I have a slight split in between my two top front teeth. I will be getting 4 teeth (1st molars, I believe) pulled on September 22. I am so looking forward to that!
Right now most of the discomfort is coming from the 8 spacers I had placed. I was hungry last night and tried eating pizza -- big mistake -- even though I didn't eat the crust, just using my molars hurt terribly within an hour.
The wax is becoming my best friend. It's never more than a few feet away.
So here's to the start of my journey...
