Thank you! I know i shocked myself! I dont take many pics cos my camera is stupid, but i was so shocked when i compared them 2!
I can't believe the changes in 2 months, i wonder how they'll look at the end!

Thank you both!

I'm getting nervous that its moving day on saturday, & i reckon i'm the oldest [only by a few months i think though..] & the only one with braces
I doubt it'll mean anything to anyone, but it makes me really nervous, more nervous than the fact i'll be living on my own now...

Where are you moving to and for what reason.. work/uni? and who are you older than?

not being nosy (much) just trying to understand what your nervous about

hehe its ok! I'm moving away for Uni, but i took a gap year so i'm older than everyone else! However, i was young in my year anyway, so i'm not too much older!!

oh & i forgot to say, today is my 1 month anniversary for my uppers!
i've seen hardly any change...

But yesterday was the 9th sept, which is never a good day in my family, & this year sept 9th brought me...a car crash!

Yes i crashed my beloved car, my brakes failed me. However, i was supposed to be getting a new car today anyway, so i suppose all is well...

I'm happy with my progress so far, although i wish my uppers were moving a little quicker!

Well i'm all settled in at my new home, my new flatmates are lovely!
I'm not missing home but i am missing my cats

Braces are causing no problem here, theres even a few other people i've seen around with braces! However i am still looking forward to the day i get them off, only 17 months

I hope they do fly by, i've got soo many sores in my mouth atm, nothing is getting rid of them at all, it makes me really fed up with braces & i cant wait for them to be off!

Anyway, the other night i had my first ever brace problem person, although really it wasnt a problem as i dont really care.
When i was out the other night & was talking to some guy & then he just goes...."wait, are you wearing braces? How old are you?" so i just went

"Yep, i am, i'm 19"
After that he wasnt all that bothered & carried on chatting. I look young for my age anyway, so i guess braces make me look so much younger...especially as it was a school disco & we were all wearing school uniforms! At least i can still pass for 16

Ahh after a week i still have this stupid sore in the same place
every day it goes down, but then when i sleep at night i wake up and its obv got caught in the braces again & swelled back up, & trying to untangle that piece of skin from the braces is a nightmare, it hurts so bad and when i try to do it, it'll sometimes start bleeding, its cut so deep

The wax isnt helping, it just falls right off, so i've given up, i may has to ask my ortho if he can get me anything else to help.
