Hi I thought I should make a blog now so here we are.

I currently have a deep bite so my ortho has given "twin blocks" for 9 months hopefully. I started twin block treatment in late January this year so i should be getting fixed braces round about christmas.

I had a deep bite as well. I didn't have bite blocks though. Had a lot of other torture devices, but no blocks. I think the deep bite part is fixed now, though. I really hope the twin blocks work well for you. Good luck on your journey, and may it be short & ...well, I was going to say "sweet", but that is probably a bad choice of words, lets say short & relatively painless. :-#)

Hi there.

Congrat's on being finished with tose appliances, and getting fixed braces in a few weeks. Were the appliances uncomfortable? They look a bit painful. Good luck with the braces and keep us posted!

No, they aren't that uncomfortable once you get used to them, its just if you leave them out for more than 10 hours they are uncomfortably tight for about
15 mins. The worst thing is the lisp that comes with them.
