Help -- Recommend a good orthodotist for lingual braces

#1 Post by Elizabeth »

Dear All,

How exciting to find this forum! :D

I am 34 years old and have been thinking to have brace on since 20, always found "good" excuse not doing it. The main reason is that I don't want to be ugly Betty...

Could not bear my over biting front teeth anymore, and moreover, I feel the situation is more and more serious...

Could you please share with me your experience with lingual braces-name of the clinic, cost etc? Read some bad story about it… So quite concerned to choose a good one…

I live in London, just got a quotation for 11K pound. Willing to travel a little bit if other cities is cheaper. :D

Thanks very much and all the best to you!

I haven't had mine fitted yet, I've had my consultation and I'm going for my records and treatment plan next (I'm very excited!)

The ortho I've found in Birmingham seems great, explained loads to me (much more than the other I had a consultation at) and he's really into lingual braces.

The prices are around £6k (depending on which I go for) but is a fair way for you to travel from London.
