Zosey Posey,

Good luck! I can totally remember the feeling the day before the braces. I'm sure it'll go okay, and keep us posted on how you're finding them :)

I survived! Now I'm just trying to adapt to these hunks of metal AND elastics. I guess they're starting me out gentle... parrots? What is the grading scale for these things? lol.

I think for right now, everything jsut feels WEIRD. Not really pain at all, just very very different.

I had parrots for the first 12 weeks, and now 9 months in im back with parrots again! They never moved me on to stronger elastics :)

wow, that sounds like a gentle start, with all the hardware at the same time! Don't worry, you'll get used: it does not feel weird for the entire treatment! :D

Congratulations on your B day!
Like everyone else has said, it soon feels normal in your mouth and you forget you even have braces.

Good luck!

Congrats on getting braced! Sounds like they're taking it easy on you to start, yay!!! That's great you don't have much pain right off the bat :)

Congratulations! I remember the first time I had my braces...I hated it at first then I saw the improvements it has made. I have mine now for around 3years...almost done!
