I ended up doing it a day early like I originally planned. Reason is because it turned out I was going to meet some new people on the Friday after Thanksgiving, and I really wanted to have the new set broken in before that. In that past when my mouth was all sore I just kind of kept to myself and
As it turns out, when I put on this (3rd) set, they went on at night and in the morning there was no pain at all. They were also pliable and easy to get off and on. Set 3 was an absolute breeze and I'm putting on 4 tonight. So I didn't even need to alter my routine.

I had a terrible time when I first had my attachements put in. When I tried to take my aligners off that night, they would not come off. I was in so much pain!!! I was pulling so much that I bent the top of the aligner out and made my gums bleed!!!The aligner was stuck on one of my attachments. I called my ortho and he said that it would be best o leave them in for tonight because the tooth was shifting. So, I did. The next morning, it was painful but I could get the aligner off. Even though, I could get them off, it was still very painful and difficult and a few days later i ended up back at my ortho and he smoothed out the difficult attachment and it got A LOT easier. It's been easy since then. Some times they come out so easily and sometimes they are more tricky, but overall--easy.

I had no idea coming into this process that it was going to be suck a pain (literally) to get these things off of my teeth with 10 attachments. I have 4 U and 6 L attachments. This is sooo not what I signed up for. Some one tell me it gets earier with this many attachments? I just ordered the tool thingy to help me out a bit b/c my fingers are sore underneath my fingernails from digging to get them out.
