hello everyone. I never thought this website existed. I'll be joining the clan pretty soon, as I will have my ceramic braces installed(is this the right word) on Wednesday. Cant wait....

Yes, upper and lower ceramic braces. I was a little sad when my ortho told me i cant have invisalign. It ok though, as I anticipate having the braces on for about 24-30 months. For now I have the separators on, and didnt know that this darn thing hurt like crazy.

We are in the same boat!! Except I am getting my ceramics a week after you... I was disappointed when I found out I couldn't get invisalign also!! I will be getting ceramics on top and bottom (bottoms later on) as well.. Good Luck!!!!

I found this site by chance and its so cool and helpful! I get ceramic braces on this week just on the bottom. Really freaked out about it though. Especially since I hear it will feel like you got hit in the mouth. Any words of wisdom will help!

After going through some of the topics in the forum, I will most likely go with metal on my bottoms. This was originally suggested by my ortho, but she said its up to me. I wanted ceramics to begin with because i didnt want the braces to be too obvious. However, I might have a lil change of heart after seeing what some people wrote in this forum.
