Any Shout-Outs on a GOOD Floss to use?
Hi !
This forum is Fa-Boo!
I just got my ceramic hardware installed a couple of days ago. Can anyone recommend a great performing floss?
I have power chains, some kind of clear, funky ligament thing for closing the extraction gaps.
Thanks SO much from the newbie

I see you posted this awhile ago, but if you are still looking, I use Oral-B Satin Floss. It's a flat tape-type floss (as opposed to a round fluffy floss). I like it b/c it does not shred. Plus it's fairly rigid so I can get it under the wires very easily and only need to use a floss threader for my very back molars.
Most people in braces use something like Glide Threader Floss or SturdyFloss because they have built-in stiff ends. There is also SuperFloss and Thornton 3-in-1 Floss, which have a spongy thick part, good for large gaps and spaces. To use your own floss, you can buy the FlossFish tool or the BridgeAid floss threader needle, which both help you floss with braces. We sell all of it at www.DentaKit.com

I'm the owner/admin of this site. Had ceramic uppers, metal lowers ~3 years in my early 40's. Now in Hawley retainers at night!
I love Superfloss, it really works great. I haven't had problems with it shredding and it's easy to thread through the braces. I tried to use regular floss with a threader and the floss would constantly slip out of the loop on the threader. Superfloss made flossing easier for me, so i would recommend trying it at least, if you haven't already.

Thirding the SuperFloss! For me it's way faster than using a floss threader.

re:
The floss I use is minted wax Oral-B Satin Floss or just the minted wax regular floss.
