im in brace-ville

#1 Post by jay »

well to day was the day the braces went on metal top and bottom(in-ovation). Woke up this moring allthough i was allready awake didnt get much sleep last night had a little something to eat and then went on my way.
waiting in the waiting room was an experiance remember looking around thinking im the oldest in here. Then came that moment you been waiting for they call your name they took me into the treatment room and that was it no turning back now ive come this far.
Took just over 1hour to fix the whole lot which was long enough because i gaging like hell and couldnt wait for her to finish. As she was putting the archwire in place she broke my brackets but she said not to worry they will replace it on my next visit in 6weeks.
abit of tenderness so far and the wire is poking me were they cut but must say this wax stuff does work not felt a thing since.
im hoping for 2 things out of this treatment straight teeth and boy its been dificult to bite my nails so that could be a bonus because ive tried evrything to stop biting .

Welcome Jay! Congradulations on being braced. As for biting your nails, I'm sure that will come to an end. I had a terrible habit of biting on my lip, and since I've gotten braces almost 1 month ago, I haven't been able to bite my lip because my front teeth are too tender. Now, I don't even think about biting my lip anymore. Good luck on your braces journey!

still the most good news is ive still been unable to bite my nails as much as ive tried just cant seem to get my teeth on to them :)
