Spacers

#16 Post by onefastchick »

I know that there are horror stories on here about spacers but its not as bad as I thought it was going to be. I am on day two of having my spacers and I have taken 2 tylenol today for the discomfort but its not painful. I am able to eat, I am eating soft foods to avoid worsening the discomfort. I did have one spacer come out the same day they were put in, I dont think it was in right so I have to go back tomorrow and have that one put back in , maybe I will have more pain then but for now its tolerable. If this is honestly the worst part of braces I think I will be ok. My "b-day" is next Tuesday the 15th so wish me luck.

I got my spacers put on yesterday and apart from a little pain this morning, they've been an absolute breeze. Nowhere near as bad as I was expecting from the stories on here! I haven't had to go near the painkillers at all and it's fun to clench my teeth together 'cause the spacers make them feel bouncy lol.
