Let's just say my partner (female) is almost more excited than I am to have my braces removed! I've already been told that activity is expected to be a part of my debrace day celebration.
LOL retainerjoe Funny this topic was mentioned right after I read Cosmo's post about 'magic sticks' lol.
I don't recall having any problems with this, ie when I had my braces my boyfriend didn't care, were it the other way I'm not sure I would care either. I'm one of those 'try almost anything once' kinds of people.
Actually, there was a post similiar to this some time ago. Was trying to locate it but cant . But I just got braces and I'm scared to even KISS someone lol

llehsal that was great lol! I didn't figure I'd comment IN those threads because they are a good 2 years old - at least the last posts are from 2008.
It's really funny to me I guess because the thought never occurred to me that there would be any problems. Besides, creative people are always able to find a work-around if they try various things, right?
So I get my braces on Tuesday and my husband comes home from deployment the end of July so he has informed me that I have a month to get used to them before he gets home so there arent any um incidents

My boyfriend has never been afraid of my braced mouth and its never been a problem in the oral department (not even when I had an exposed canine with a button attached in the roof of my mouth).
I will say, though, I have had trouble with deep kissing. It's my roadblock rather than his -- mentally, I am very shy about his tongue touching my braces so I pull back. So it will be nice to get my braces off and have really good make-out sessions again.
I had my braces on for 2 years, 1 month, 2 weeks and 2 days.
